How do you engage with today’s modern family and meet their ever-changing needs for quick connections? As technology continues to evolve in Chile so does the need to connect faster. Movistar needed to stay ahead of the pack and give consumers what they want most: high speed connection and exceptional service. We decided to be where consumers desired speed the most: the crowded Santiago subway stations. At the extremely busy stairway entrances to the train platforms, where people are constantly running up and down, we installed the first ever Movistar branded slide in Chile where people could slide their way down to their next destination very quickly. This created conversation from social sites and word of mouth, content from earned media with substantial press coverage. The value of having fun and getting home faster was real currency for commuters.
